The Twelves Group was launched in 1982 and quickly spread its work of developing a meditative process based around the coming together of people from many different countries, cultures and backgrounds. This variation allowed the group to experience a commonality of expression and the sacred geometry involved engendered a working ‘receiver/transmitter’ of energies far beyond the sum of the twelve people.
The energies interact by working initially in triangles and then proceed to form a star of twelve like-minded people who come together with one intent - to contribute energetically by offering themselves as a vehicle through which Universal Energy may flow. No experience is necessary for this work, only a clear intent to maintain the purity of focus required for this – participants are requested to suspend other tools and methodologies during participation in order to take on the mantle of this particular group work. It is essential to have clarity of focus and accept personal responsibility as this work is largely uncharted, powerful and transformational – as a Twelves worker you are dealing with planetary energies not personal.
The essence of the work is focussed on the twelve people working together in this star formation as mentioned above. The four interlaced triangles at the cardinal points of North, South, East and West. The Twelves Group operates under the sponsorship and inspiration of a Centre on the inner planes; an aspect of our outreach is to work with the planets ley lines and cities. Twelves Group work is conducted under the protection of the angelic realm.
The correlations, both planetary and cosmic, are self-evident including Zodiacal, the New Jerusalem and a continuance of the well-established ‘Triangles’ and various transmission /prayer work around the globe.
Long after the concept of working in Twelves was developed a passage was discovered in the well known esoteric book ‘Agni Yoga’ by Helena Roerich in 1929. We reproduce it here for context:
